Welcome to the Inaugural Avalaunch Gives Back 5k and Family Fun Run!

Water For Life Charity was excited to join Avalaunch Gives Back 5k and Family Mascot Fun Run and compete to help provide easier access to clean water, and to decrease the number of people dying from contaminated water in impoverished countries around the world.
The event was sponsored by the Digital Marketing Agency, Avalaunch Media and Interventional Vascular & Vein Center (IVC).
This event took place on November 20, 2021, at the Wheeler Historic Farm Course in Salt Lake City. We had over 100 participants and each participant received a t-shirt, a gift bag with some great gifts from our sponsors, great prizes and finisher medals. For an inaugural race, the results were amazing!
Utah Grizzlies, Kodiak Cakes, Skoshe and Germaine Marine became sponsors of the Avalaunch Gives Back 5k event and a hockey game night with free tickets for all children who participated in the race.
The Water For Life Charity team was ready to show everyone our charitable mission and why we do these fundraisers. Here we have Carlos Iglesias, one of our board members, who is explaining how the buckets and water filters work.
To those who participated in the Avalaunch da Back 5K Family Run, a huge THANK YOU for coming and supporting. We raised $ 11,000 and we can’t thank you enough for all the support.
